“Nezer Hanahal” Kollel - A warm home for working Avrechim of Breslov Hasidism.

“Nezer HaNachal” Kollel was born from the grassroots, out of a real need from real people who wanted to build a spiritual home where they could learn, grow, and truly come closer to God. The kollel emerged from the local synagogue community — a warm, diverse, and special group of good Jews who did not always find their place in regular frameworks, but whose hearts burned with Torah, faith, and a search for truth. These community members were the initiators and founders of the kollel. They sought a place that would speak to them on their level — without coercion, without rigidity, but with joy, closeness, and warmth. “Nezer HaNachal” is the fruit of a heart that thirsted and brought life. Today, the kollel gathers a group of God-fearing scholars (avreichim), blessed with families and children, who diligently study the Talmud with deep connection. Alongside analytical and thorough Talmud study, there is a unique emphasis on Hasidut in the illuminating spirit of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, a life-affirming teaching that uplifts hearts. In the kollel, there is no single template; every avrech studies where his heart desires. Each one finds his own proper path in divine service, through trust, introspection, and inner freedom. Every day, a general class is held in an uplifting atmosphere, studying the sacred works of Ohr HaChaim, words of Hasidut, faith, and worldview — a lesson that provides depth, connection, and inspiration. Equally important, the kollel operates organically as part of the “Nezer HaNachal” synagogue, which serves as a lively and thriving community center. The community and synagogue birthed the kollel, and today the kollel nourishes the community. This is a kollel that has opened wide doors to a community of Breslov followers, but also to avreichim from the area who are not necessarily members of the community, who have found here warmth, truth, and renewed closeness to Torah and divine service. Thus, a cycle of mutual strengthening is created: avreichim from the kollel are active in the synagogue, and from the synagogue more members join the kollel, naturally drawn to the light, joy, and truth. “Nezer HaNachal” is not just a kollel — it is a home. A home of Torah, a home of soul, a home of people who believe that with the heart one can reach the furthest.
